Embrace your natural body type. It’s no secret that Kardashian’s curves are about as famous as her TV show. But rather than exercising around the clock to achieve a Hollywood-friendly, slimmed-down shape, the star works with what her mama gave her in asset-enhancing, figure-hugging attire.

Adorn your feet in fabulous footwear. From thigh-high boots to her endless collection of Christian Louboutin pumps, Kardashian knows how to work a killer pair of heels. And whether she’s running errands around town or walking a red carpet, she always steps out in a pair that helps her 5-foot-2 frame reach new heights. Work a range of hairstyles. Although the half-Armenian beauty is known for wearing her long, dark hair in loose bombshell waves, she isn’t afraid to mix things up with a tight topknot updo or lighten up the color. The secret behind her super-glossy strands? “I don’t wash [my hair] every day, which helps it shine,” Kardashian told SELF magazine. “I also switch up what shampoo I use all the time.”

When it comes to makeup, don’t be afraid to fake it. Kardashian’s NYC makeup artist, Troy Surratt, tells Us Weekly that the secret behind her flawless face is foundation, smoky eyes and false lashes. “Long, full lashes are flirtatious and feminine,” says Surratt, who notes that Kim frequently wears them to make her eyes look big and bright.

Play up all of your features. “The Kardashian sisters know the power of glam and aren’t afraid to accentuate and capitalize on every feature,” Surratt tells Us. That means paying attention to your eyes, cheeks and lips instead of just focusing on one of them.

Tip: If you use a pencil, layer a dark shadow over it for staying power. Liquid and gel formulas are other long-lasting options. And don’t forget to apply extra mascara at the outer lashes to make eyes really pop.

When rocking a bright lipstick, your M.O. should be to keep the rest of your makeup simple so it doesn’t compete with the bold hue on your lips. And although it’s fine to go bare-faced at a summer picnic, you might need to bend the beauty rules a bit when it comes to getting glammed up for a big night out.

Take a cue from Alicia Keys, 30, who opted for heavy black winged liner to complement her fruit-punch lips at a charity event in London Wednesday night. Notice that she’s not wearing eyeliner along the bottom of her eyes, which is one way to soften an otherwise dramatic effect.

Cat-eye liner seems difficult, but it can be easy to execute if you have the right tools. Choose a liquid liner with a medium tip and (with a steady hand) drag the brush along your lashline from the inner to the outer corner. When you get to the end, follow your eye’s natural shape and bring the line slightly up and out past your eye just a few millimeters. (A little can go a long way!) Feel free to go light at first, as you can always make the line bolder once you have the outline done.

To copy the singer’s pretty pink pout, opt for a long-wear formula. (It is summer, after all!) Skip the lipliner and instead trace the outline of your lips with a concealer to prevent the color from bleeding. Slick on a candy-colored hue, blot, and you’re good to go!

Not only is Lauren Conrad Allure magazine’s current cover model (as well as guest editor for the publication’s Facebook page), but the starlet just announced the launch of her brand-new beauty website, TheBeautyDepartment.com, which is a collaboration with her hairstylist and makeup artist.

The 25-year-old is well on her way to becoming quite the style mogul: She has two clothing lines LC Lauren Conrad, which is sold at Kohl’s, and Paper Crown, which began rolling out to buyers this February, plus she’s worked with the cosmetic brand mark and has a three-book contract and the New York Times-bestseller stamp of approval. Do any Google search and you’ll see countless articles turn up about her signature look: black winged eyeliner, flowing tresses and a California-chic wardrobe. And since the star released her own book Lauren Conrad Style last fall, she, along with beauty entourage Kristen Ess and Amy Nadine, will have plenty of material to work with.
