It’s hard to maintain your fashion sense on the red carpet when you’re dressing up around an expanding baby bump. But Jessica Alba, 30, who is expecting her second child with hubby Cash Warren, 32, (she’s already mom to 2-year-old daughter Honor), has managed to look super chic this summer, stepping out in a slew of bright and breezy looks.

The actress went for a teal printed Issa maxi dress with butterfly sleeves at the launch of the children’s book Carla and Leo’s World of Dance in Los Angeles.

She dazzled in a custom Diane von Furstenberg coral and purple color-block dress with Fallon jewels at the CFDA Awards.

For a friend’s wedding the Spy Kids 4 star chose a turquoise blue strapless floral dress with cut out detailing paired with metallic Brian Atwood sandals and a white fringed shawl.

Alba told Us Weekly that her current pregnancy has been much easier than the first.

“It’s just simply not as daunting of a process. Before everything was happening for the first time and it’s like, ‘What’s going on?’ and ‘What does this mean?’” she said. “I would look everything up online, I had all my books; I diagnosed myself with everything that can go wrong. Of course nothing went wrong, thank God! I guess I’m sort of more at ease with it all.”

Wake up your spring wardrobe with this season’s hottest trend: bright colored jeans. Cameron Diaz worked a salmon pair of Rag & Bones (5 rag-bone.com), Anna Kendrick made a bold statement in kelly green Rag & Bones (5 rag-bone.com) and Kim Kardashian stepped out in royal blue J Brand 811’s (6, 323-852-5000).

However, you don’t have to break the bank to rock this look. I found an awesome version from Dickies (remember them?!), which comes in hot pink, red and aqua. (, dickies.com)

Some pointers for pulling it off: First, stick to a skinny style so the bold color doesn’t overpower your look. Next, keep the rest of your outfit relatively simple. Think a classic white tee with a layered necklace. I also love a black leather jacket with bright jeans. As for accessories, try a nude pump, sandal or chic black bootie. At night you can experiment with a more colorful shoe. Remember, you want to keep the look about the jean, so don’t overdo the rest and have fun with it!

Of course it’s not the first time Brad Pitt’s gals have rocked similar styles. At Salt’s Hollywood premiere in July, Jolie, 35, stepped out in a black sequin mini, similar to one Aniston, 41, sported four months earlier.

And while Aniston recently released her own eponymous scent, she recently said she has no plans to launch a clothing line. “I love clothes, but I don’t know what to put on myself, let alone others,” the actress told Women’s Wear Daily last week. “I have a lot of help getting dressed.”
